Dinner followed by guests speakers from the International Orthodox Christian Charities in the Balkans, who are helping the people there overcome the effects of war.  The IOCC’s development programs benefit farmers, small business people, displaced families, refugees, orphaned children and civil society organizations regardless of their ethnicity or religion.  The Puzzle Peace Choir, an interfaith children’s choir, will perform.

Pre-register with Shelly Vaneste, 624-0061, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6822 Grand Ave. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Religious organizations

  • addressing human need,
  • dismantling racism,
  • advocating for children, especially those affected by poverty,
  • ministering to the prisoner, and
  • being peacebuilders among all people.
